Kitty Hawk 1/32 F-86K WGAF
Hi
Thats better I enjoyed this , sort of
This is made straight from the box , fit and detail is very good , apart from the scoops on the fuselage side which they dont give you but a bit of plastic card soon remedies that The decals are first class and go on with no problems at all Now for the down side , which invariably there always is with Kitty Hawk kits , and its the instructions , if you have built a recent Kitty Hawk kit you will be aware that they employ JK Rowling and JRR Tolkien to compile them which lets them down Dry fit everything 3 times then glue once the cockpit intake truncking and engine does not fit this kit , looks like they are for the F-86D with shorter fuselage , I had already decided the engine was not needed so this help a great deal
Anyway I enjoyed this , it is finished with Xtracolor RAL colours and Alclad semi gloss varnish
Thanks for looking
Cheers
Paul

Nice. Will you be doing the 1/48th Sabre F4 when Airfix finally release it?
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Superb as usual
Re: Kitty Hawk 1/32 F-86K WGAF
Look forward to it. I've got the Airfix one on order. Still doing practice kits to get my techniques up to scratch, I'll post something one day.

Top work as always
Re: Kitty Hawk 1/32 F-86K WGAF
Thanks everyone
Just starting another Kitty Hawk kit (SH-60F) if I thought the instructions were bad in the F-86K , these are worse , starts by telling you where to drill holes and start to assemble the interior/floor but no images of the parts A quick search on the internet , gets you the corrected sheet , but this sort of thing should not happen in this day and age I think this could be a long build
Thanks again have a great Easter everyone
Cheers
