Trumpeter 1/32 A-7D OH ANG

Hi

Just finished this Ohio ANG A-7D as the well known 69-6222 "Scrappy" using the Air Doc decals as seen by all and sundry at the 1989 Mildenhall Air Fete Decals were good to use apart from the tail codes which I think should be dark grey rather than the black as supplied Air Doc produce a very nice book to go with the decal sheet as well
Finished in Xtracolor and Alclad semi matt varnish

Great job as always Paul, here's one of mine from almost the same position and the tail code looks black to me - could be very dark grey though?

Tail codes look black to me mate in my shots - so spot on with the model!

32 years ago where does the time go? It was my last air fete while I was stationed at the heath, before I went to Korea. But I did come back for one more air fete. Nothing will ever replace the 4.5 years I spent in the UK.
