Italeri 1/32 F-104G WGAF

Post by PaulN » Sun Jan 24, 2021 1:07 pm

Hi
Number 7 in the Starfighter collection , F-104G 25+47 of JaboG 31 , photo taken at RAF Coningsby on 14-4-1981 , nearly 40 years ago :Wow: during Elder Forest 81

All finished with Xtracolor WGAF colours and Paulclad for the dull aluminum with Plasti-kote for the day glo tip tanks and Alclad semi Matt varnish , decals are from the superb Astra Decals sheet

Thanks for looking

Paul :thumb:

Thanks guys :thumb:

Jon , they do look close , but they had to be nose down , if they were level they would scrape the runway on rotation

Cheers all :thumb:

Good morning Paul
Superb quality,I really like your additional photo (adds a bit of background history to the particular build ) ,I always look forward to seeing your masterpieces :thumb: a million times better than what I can manage I have managed to finish a B-2 model (wings where rather fragile which is what took time (I have named her Spirit of Fairford ) finished a few years ago (I will just say i’m pleased with how it’s turned out in the end though :),although it’s in the semi airborne position all the time now as the front nose wheel broke or is fiddlely one of the two  but don’t have the hand skills but willing to try a more easier build ,I feel you could recommend one that would be greatly appreciated (via pm please )
All the best
