Airfix 1/24 Hellcat!

Finally finished the Hellcat! I decided to do the FAA Version.....seeing as my Dad was in the FAA at the end of WW2!
Grumman Hellcat Mk2. No 808 Squadron, FAA, HMS Khedive, East Indies,1945.

Hi Jon, There are a number of superb modellers showing their incredible work on here. All extremely entertaining to look at.

I enjoyed building it! Originally,I was going to have the wings folded......but, seeing as they fold along the fuselage, I thought that you wouldn't see much detail!
Mmmm......might still try a folded version! :whistle:
