It's mine I promise...
Cheers Jamie, the mud isn't an effect... it's the real thing! I painted it normally and then scratched it a bit and then literally just slapped loads of mud onto it. I took some photos in the garden and then found a WWI battlefield and pasted the two photos together

A Heller 1/125 Ariane 5:

I made a quick dummy satellite payload out of some plasticard and spare sprue (it's somewhat based on ESA's Rosetta spacecraft)

Re: General modelling gallery
Having played DCS A-10 quite a lot, I have come to hate/fear/respect the Shilka and it's annoying buzz on the RWR. So when I saw this I relished the thought of making one. It went together really well and then I went to town on the weathering. Hope you like.

Re: General modelling gallery
I`ve got a confession to make ,warships are my first love from the model making point of view,so this is my attempt at making a 350th Trumpeter Hood to depict her as she appeared in 1938.I first built this as a full-hull model in 2008,with many modifications to the kit,but I decided to rebuild her with the benefits of an Artwox wooden deck,a new paint job,and do it as a waterline ,which is now my favourite way of displaying ships. It hasn`t turned out too bad .Two bites at the cherry!
