Post by PaulN » Sun Jun 28, 2020 7:52 am

Hi

Thought it was about time for Kev's next day-glo fix

This is FLY's Jet Provost T3 , not a shake the box and its made kit ;) but with a little effort and cleaning up its a nice little kit :thumb:

Added a few more cabinet shots , showing my "trainer" collection at the time

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Paul :thumb:

I've run out of superlatives! Many (many) years ago I came across a picture in a magazine of a long line up of JPs in this scheme, taken at either Leeming or Linton at a guess. I liked it so much I tore it out and put it up on my wall. It was one of those pictures that made me want to join the RAF, although sadly that was not to be.
I also like the Sea Prince in your cabinet - reminds me of the 750 NAS examples from Culdrose that used to trundle past my then home in Tintagel on an almost daily basis. The minute I saw your pics this morning it took me right back to those days - fantastic!
