Final build for display at the upcoming 50th Harrier event at NAM in April. Again another rehash of a diorama subject I did a couple of years ago, minus the Argentine Skyhawk.
It`s the `not perfect but good enough for this type of build` Hase 1/48 kit, base from Coastal Kits and cheap frame from Evilbay.
Very good scene set there. Do love the Sea Harrier, especially when firing a 'winder. Never quite looked as mean in FRS2 form without the sharp pointed nose and high pitot tube!
Top effort. Reminds me of the 1:48 Airfix kit made in the early 90's that won me an Air Cadet Wing modelling competition.
Very impressive, and I love the details that really sell it - whether that's the well-chosen (printed?) image in the frame, the nicely-executed puff of missile exhaust or the slightly raised port wing (to simulate the "wobble" from releasing the missile, I assume?)
