Help - 1:72 Whirlwind required

Post by steve149c » Tue Nov 08, 2011 6:38 pm

Hi all,

I'm trying to locate a 1:72 Westland Whirlwind (helicopter, not the WWii plane) to build as a SAR unit from RAF Valley for the comp. But can I find a kit? Can I oh fudge.

So I am appealling to you, my fellow FC's if you have one in your stash, or know of one.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Thanks, but they are modifications and decals which I will need - but I need to find an airframe first. Thanks though!

Also looking, I could do with getting a Chickasaw S-55 and change the nose - probably doesn't help searching as I'm out the country and my computer doesn't find UK sites.

Ah well, I'm sure I will find one!

Do you mean one like this?

To get to this you need to get the 1/72 Italeri UH-19B and one of the conversion noses.

A bit of surgery

And you finally get something better than my attempt!
