Heres my entry for the GB
Box top shot
Major sub assemblies put together
Airframe almost complete
The kits gone together really well, just a few swipes of filler and no major problems. I have built this kit before, but the first one was converted to a T8M.
Just need to get the canopy on and masked and she's ready for some paint.

Quick update.
Thanks for all the comments so far.
Decided to get the airbrush out for this one. Dark gray sprayed on followed by dark green, all Tamiya acrylics. I started to mask the camouflage but it became a bit of a ball ache so ended up doing it free hand. Havnt used the airbrush for years and have never put acrylics through it.
Quite pleased with the results, its not perfect, but that will come with practice. Just the underside light grey to do and we can think about getting all that masking off.
Quick question for Waghorn41.
She will be finished in one of the early 80's Brawdy schemes. All the Hunters I ever worked on had either silver undersides or were red white and gray. On the ones with light gray undersides what colour was the inside of the U/C bays, flaps etc ?

The airbrush has done you proud there Atech. That last photo is really bringing the Hunter to life.

Smaal update
All the masking is off and ready for a coat of clear and then the decals.
Still got all the details to do U/C, flaps etc but I will do that in between waiting for decals to dry.
Quite happy with the progress so far, but probably wont get much more done before the new year.
Merry Christmas all
Atech

Undercarriage bays and flap internal areas are silver... and nice to see you are doing what I assume to be XF418 '16' then judging by the red spine etc? One of the many Hunters at Brawdy I spent time working on

Another quick update
A lot of the decals on. Also Tail feathers
Still got loads of stencils to add.
A bit more painting to do then on with the sticky outy bits and some weathering.

This will be the final update before I declare it finished.
All decals now on, wash and oil stains applied with coat of matt varnish. I only have one photo of this machine and she looked fairly tired, so thats what I've tried to replicate. Not sure if I've over done it though.
Will now let it thoroughly dry for a few days and should finish all the tanks/flaps/UC this weekend.

Lovely work, looks suitably hard worked - which of course the Hunters were.

It's certainly come out rather nicely - the weathering does indeed resemble the state the poor things were in by the time we neared the retirement from Brawdy in the mid 80's. Most of the fleet also gained a very stained underside too, despite frequent cleaning schedules, so top marks for portraying it as you have done!
