I'm building this for my baby Brother as the Spitfire is his all-time favourite aircraft. I will be building it as a Pre-war airframe with the two-bladed prop. I'm just waiting for a resin seat and some decals to arrive. And its also a long time since I've built a Spitfire.
This is the Airfix re-tooled Spitfire Mk.I which I'm building as a pre-WW2 example with the wooden Watts two-blade propeller.
I've not done much at the moment. As can be seen.

Cockpit with seat. The reason for the red brownish colour seat was because they were of Bakelite

Pilot I've done him wearing a White pre-war flying suit. The life presever I've done Yellow (which is probably wrong. But I don't care as it adds some colour)

Now to install the control column and get the fuselage together.
