Im building this kit for my nephew, I like it, just watch the joins when you fit the outer wing sections. I get the impression they are for something else! Keep up the good work Max. B-52 next?

Sure if Max had his way it would be a full diorama of Fairford in June with 2 B2s and all the B52s!

Thanks all for the replies :thumb: ,well I did do some work on her on Thursday and it is now 98% complete  ,Seven you where correct on warning me about the outer wing edges ,they really don't look like they should be there as one seems shorter than the other for some wired reason  ,I don't know what I should do with that wing??..might be the woulds first single winged b2  .
Next stage is paint and decals :) .Think it might be called B2 Spirit of Fairford  ,also intend to include a 1.3 million pound hangar to go with the model ....oh and a three mile long runway .. :D

Hi
Yes it is the Revell 1/114 :) I think for someone that hasent done much modelling in the last couple of years it's a nice model to start with .
Good luck with your builds :thumb:

Thanks all :)
Little update in the slow progress due to being busy ....
I would say it's now 98% complete and I did manage to sort out the wing problem as I had put them the wrong way round ,but as they say you only learn by trying :) .
Just got the decals and paint to go now,it's in the take of position ,I'm very happy with the outcome so far :thumb: ,I used some old photos I took from the first deployment of the real thing to FFD way back in 08 to use as a reference to sort out the wing issue .( I may post those pics on here in the nostalgic thread possibly as well at some point :) )
