Hi all
So having seen the amazing X-47B and followed in its flight tests - including the latest launch from an aircraft carrier - I thought it time to build one. But first up is a box review and whilst Drones are not everyone's cup of tea I think that they are the amazing future of flight!
Manufacturer : Orange Hobby
Model: Northop Grumman X-47B (Drone)
Scale: 1/72
Material : Resin and Photoetch

First up a no nonsense box and cover
Then once opened a very well packed model
First up the main body made of one single cast, but with some very nasty gates on the underside
Underside
Then the 'spine' with great detail
Plus the rest including wings (option to be folded) and wheel etc
Then the instructions, photoectch and decals
All in all a good looking kit,
Cost was about £23 including delivery from China
There are some very interesting contour lines on the body which I am not sure if are on the real thing - so will have to do some investigation.
But looking forward to getting onto this sometime soon
Cheers
Steve
