Maketar Paint Masks

Post by GreenBat » Fri Jan 18, 2013 7:33 pm

Hello'
Just wondering if any of you guys have had any dealings with Maketar Paint Masks
http://shop.maketar.com/

I have placed an order with them, but have not yet received any of my goods, I have contacted them several times, but they have failed to reply which makes me a bit worried.

Cheers
Stuart.

Try through Relish Models, they are the UK supplier and might be able to help

Cheers Steve, I did see that relish were the uk supplier but they didn't have what I wanted in stock, so I thought I order them direct from the Maketar website, this may have been a mistake
I will contact RelishModels to see if they know if Maketar are still trading or if they have another method of contact I can try.

I will also give it a few more days and see if they reply to my emails.

Cheers
Stuart.

Ummmmm....seems a wee bit dodgy to me, He says it wasn't meant to be a "real" company..... the website looks damn real to me!! and is still open for trade!!

Think I need to contact PayPal over this one!

Cheers for your help Steve.

Just a quick follow up to this,

No goods were ever received, only one rather patronising email received from Maketar Masks telling me to have some patience and that he has NEVER had any problems before!

I received messages from members of other forums who have had similar poor service and have had to claim a refund via PayPal, so his claim of NEVER had problems before seems untrue!

I filed a claim with PayPal and received a full refund.

My advise is to AVOID Maketar Masks.
