LIQUID PLASTIC

I have taken up kit bashing again, and i thought id try some new tips and tricks. LIQUID PLASTIC. put bits of scrap plastic in a 1/4 empty bottle of liquid polly. It will disolve and after adding sufficant bits of plastic you will have a very thick mixture. Simply brush onto joins and gaps. Big gaps will need backing with plasticard. Small gaps can be sanded in a few hours, larger ones genrally the next day or 24 hours later. The weight in my B-24 came loose, so I had to drill a hole in it to secure it again. Hole filled with liquid plastic and sanded smooth. You would not know she had Key hole surgery ! I tried doing the framing on some kits buy cutting strips of masking tape ( I used a high adesive plastic tape ) sticking to the canopies and glazing then carefully painting the strips. Looks very good, especialy handy on kits wear very little definition of the frame is visable.
was especialy efective on the Airfix B-24 ball turet.
