Now this is spooky, the mrs and I were out round Ely town today for a bit of a walk when I was finally allowed my pocket money so I thought I would treat myself to a couple of model mags. I dont buy these very often as I find them a bit repetitive, but as I havnt bought any since we went to waddo I thought why not.

Any way I bought a copy of Model Aviation world, which I have never seen before. But as it had a rather nice looking gannet on the front I bought it. Now after we have been mentioning the Alley cat one on here this week low and behold it has a really nice, in depth review of that actual kit. It is really good reading, so if you are after a good read then I will for once recomend this mag as I find it a really informative read

Bought a copy today on one of my rare visits to town - the Alley Cat Gannet kit looks great ... ... ... why, why, why isn't it in 1:48?

There are few kits I'd like more in 1:32, but the Gannet is right up there on my list (manufacturers please note)

I very rarely buy magazines (mainly when Im on holiday) and I hadnt seen this one before. It is a very good read and the articals, reviews and layout make for an interesting read. Although as you may know I enjoy 'new releases' this mag has a review of the forthcoming item as well as just a time, date and price. Where as with some other publications you are bombarded with every thing all at once. If I had the time I and the product samples I would like this sort of thing for our 'new release' thread (we shall see), I will just have to wait untill good old curiosity gets the better of me and I have a bit of a spending spree or what is more comonly known as Telford

I definately think that curiosity will step in on the old gannet as I have a couple of canberra conversion I want to do so when I do my order for my Alley cat conversions from A2zee there may be one of the Gannet's on the bottom of the list
