Re: Airfix 24th Mosquito
Reviews ain't gonna persuade me... it's when the price tag drops below fifty quid that I'll start thinking about it!

Re: Airfix 24th Mosquito
Ive finaly got one
The box is indeed huge but thankfully the mrs knows about it (shame she dosnt know about the other 4 kits I orderd
).
I will do an in box review this weekend, but just from opening the box it looks like an impressive kit, and I never thought I would say that about an airfix kit. (although I do like there nimrod)

Re: Airfix 24th Mosquito
Looking forward to seeing this build Viper
HJ711 (Elvington Mossie) please
I want one but its far too much money for me to waste
Maybe if the price comes down
Just a quick thread drift.
May I suggest this http://www.internetmodeler.com/2007/feb ... ington.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as your next build. I had a look in the box in Modelzone yesterday, I like it a lot
Its 29.99 down from 49.99 at the moment. Still too expensive for me, I only went in for a cheap Victor, which have all gone

Re: Airfix 24th Mosquito
Ive got one of those wellingtons in my stash that the mrs bought me about 2 years ago for my birthday. It is a very nice kit, the bomb doors alone have about 150 parts
.
Im not sure how im going to do the mossi yet, Rob said that there is a nice sea mossi conversion on its way out which has interested me. But even the kit has got 5 different schemes included.

Shaun,
If you are looking for a decent review; http://www.scalemodellingnow.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; have two full reviews of the Mossie on there, both are super detailed and well worth a look (not trying to plug the site!)
It is a massive kit, doesnt the box alone weight 3kg?
Looking forward to seeing yours being built up!
