Here is an in box review of the new buckeye

I havnt bought one just yet as although it does impress me im not sure if its worth the £45 price tag. The resins, decals and moldings all look excalent but I think I will wait for the IPMS special decals version to come out.

Re: Two bobs buckeye
Yes it does look nice, but is it really worth almost ten times the cost of the Revell T-2? Yes, I know I'm the knob who's just spend £136.00 on a 1:32 Sea Fury, but it does seem one helluva a lot for a 1:72 - not for me I'm afraid, I think my stash will have to be capped TFN.
That aside, the Two Bobs Buckeye is one helluva kit - no extras needed there, the Walk-around CD is an especially nice touch and everything does look top notch such as the cabling on the backs of the instrument panels.

Re: Two bobs buckeye
Rob,
I dont think your a knob for spending that much on something you enjoy, for a 32nd mixed media kit that is quite good. The buckeye is actualy 48th scale but it is still a little steep. I think I will see what my curiosity tells me to do on this one

Re: Two bobs buckeye
If like me you are waiting for your Two bobs buckeye to arrive, here is a taster from the reviewers from cybermodeler. Im getting the IPMS black special scheme but the kit will be the same.

Its weird as Ive never looked forward to a kit as much as this, I think I need to get out more or buy some more kits (I forget how it works
