Vulcan 200th scale

Some more babble about Dragon's new Vulcan on another well-known site:-

Bear in mind that the comments on that thread don't make any sense. The artwork depicts XH560. Unfortunately XH560 didn't have a TFR thimble on the nose. Nor did it have the large-bore 300 series engine exhausts. So the decals are going to be of no use. Even crazier is that the 27 squadron emblem is for the early paint scheme which had full colour red/white/blue insignia, not the later Dumbo design which was applied when red/blue insignia was applied. All very confusing, anyway the basic point is that you may as well throw the decal sheet in the bin!
Sprue shots suggest that it's a nice little kit though. Not completely accurate but not bad considering its small size. It looks suspiciously like they copied the Airfix kit in parts!
