Info for Future Idea

Post by Flyingmonster » Fri Dec 03, 2010 1:56 pm

Afternoon all! :thumb:

I am looking at a project for the future :ninja:

What I am looking for is a list of Aircraft that were significant because of the pilot that flew them or there history :thumb:

Obvious ones spring to mind such as Manfred Von Richthofen, Douglas Barder and Bud Anderson.

Any will do :thumb: If you can can you give any info you know about them :thumb:

Thanks guys!

Monster :thumb:
Cheers

Roland Beamont flew an enormous range of aircraft, Hurricane in the Battle of France through to test flying the Tornado by way of Typhoon, Tempest, Canberra (some record breaking flights) Lightning and TSR2, there is plenty of reference material out there. Also Eric 'Winkle' Brown, more types I'm sure but I don't know how easy it will be to find info on colour schemes and serials. Chuck Yeager didn't do bad either, Mustang through to I think F20 Tigershark.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.
