Just to add to this, here is the link to more pictures of this model and the backstory behind it.Flaps wrote:Great shots, but what is the 8th one supposed to be ?
Looks like a VC-10 gone wrong
Thanks for the info, had never heard of that before !Beer Monster wrote:Cheers Mike, your right it is a VC-10.
In the late 50's early 60's, Vickers and various government ministries looked into the various applications of the VC-10.
What they came up with was a Multi-Role VC-10 which could be easily converted from role to role,
Tanker,Troop transport,Casualty evacuation, Freighter, Bomber, Maritime Recon etc
Many thanks for that TC, I thought of you when I saw the 'Abandoned Projects' standtc2324 wrote:Just to add to this, here is the link to more pictures of this model and the backstory behind it.Flaps wrote:Great shots, but what is the 8th one supposed to be ?

As for the Kinetic F-16a mlu Shaun mentioned, it is one nice kit. I am hoping to put the Italeri Italian decals onto it as the one that came into Waddington this year.
