I bought mine in Dec 2008 for about £90. On top of that I have added the Aires burner cans, tecknics cocpit, jolly rogers decalas and eduard exterior set. I think that roughtly takes it to about £170 - £190 without paints glue etc. Inflation is a wonderful thing dont you think!

Quite happy for you to remove the post if you like. I think the miost I have spent on a kit after that is the 1/32 Tamiya F-14 i am to build next - probbaly up to about £170 and have not even started it yet. The question is where to put it once it is built!
beermonster, PM me and I'll sort you some 360 pics out.
That's interesting - I too have the Tamiya F-14 kit, in my case part built. I bought mine in 1981/2 when it was first released at the vast for the time price of £29.95. Inflation seems to have kit the kit quite badly

One of these days I really will finish mine. I did the forward fuselage in the early 80s and since then haven't done anything to it owing to too many factors to list. I put too much effort into the cockpit to replace it now with after market products which were almost non existent in those days, but I might add something such as burners etc.
By the time I've finished the Fisher Sea Fury the cost is going to rise as Although the kit is as near perfect as I have seen, I still want to add tweaks such as
Little Lenses in the landing and navigation lights, replacing the printed instruments with individual decals, replacing harnesses, adding oxygen hose, canopy framing etc., etc.
