Guys,

Just a quick note that Modelzone in Meadowhall had 3 of these kits in at the weekend (2 now as I bought one in between going dress shopping with the Fiancee!) Not even opened it as yet so if you arfe struggling to get one it might be worth ringing up. I know the model store in Kings Lynn also have one in too if you are local to there?

I don't think i'd look as good in (or out) of a dress as my other half... All I can say is that Kirk Geiger (look that one up lads) and Monsoon are not the cheapest of shops to buy stuff in!

I know its a travesty! Dress and shoe shopping isnt that bad with the other half to be honest!

Thank god for Modelzone there but to be honest you cant beat my local model store as it has everything you need there, apart from a Sea Vixen!

To be honest I didnt even think of going down to our local for my vixens, I just saw that Graham had free p+p on orders over £50 and they were £30.49 each.

Jobs a good'n

But I do like city cycle centre in Ely and I still havnt popped into model zone in Cambridge as yet. :(

Word to the wise.. steer clear of the one in Peterborough! Its awful and expensive.

SHould come over to Spalding and check out Mason Models in Spalding. Really good and old school model store...

But anyway we are tracking off topic tonight!

Never go anywhere near Primark (Hate the store!) thats probably why I didnt know they had one. We have one over here near me anyway, like you say, cheap brushes seems to do the trick

That reminds me, I've got one occupying shelf-space at my local. I was leaving collection until my son's HobbyBoss 1:48 RAAF F-111C arrives, hopefully in time for Crimbo and I'll pick them up together.

I hope it's not too long before we get some after market products for the Sea Vixen - a fully detailed cockpit, wind-fold and flaps/air brake at least.

Has anyone heard any rumours to this effect?

Good to see you back on here Rob :thumb:

I havnt heard of anything just yet, but Im sure eduard will be on the case soon enough and possibly pavla or cmk may be sorting out the cockpit. But saying that the kit deatil isnt all that bad, but im sure I will be picking up some goodies when the are released

Hi Shaun - I've been about, just not posting much, been rather tied up with injured aged parents and the snow etc., but getting back to normal now.

I agree, the level of detail is already pretty good, but some nice pre-painted PE for the cockpit, flaps, wing-fold and undercarriage would be nice - other than some nice thin etched fins for the Redtop AAMs, it doesn't need much more.

All we need now is a Scimitar and a better 1:48 Buccaneer and we're away ... ... ...

Yeah I agree Rob, I've got one of these coming at xmas..and a wingfold and U/C set would be great :thumb:
Tell you what would be good to see... a 1/48th Supermarine Attacker :)

Well, you know me and foldy-wingy-thingies, but the Attacker doesn't do it for me. Did you know there is one in 1:48 already from Classic Airframes. I don't think it's very plentiful, but they are still obtainable, there are three on ebaY at present, e.g. this one - they show up fairly often on this side of the pond as well.
