Re: Model display
Just got to get it wired up to a base mate - the aircraft itself is done.BOLLO wrote:You not finished that AC130 yet?Ben Montgomery wrote:I'll bring along my Tamiya Spit, Raptor, Display Hawk, and if they are finished - the B-1, F-15E and Sea Vixen. There's always the AC-130 too, but it'll be work in progress.
All pending on my exam timetable of course.
Jamie - the Vixen will be out of box - not sure which one yet (not G-CVIX though)

So that will be just the spit, raptor and hawk then because haven't you already had your quota of one finished model this year?Ben Montgomery wrote:I'll bring along my Tamiya Spit, Raptor, Display Hawk, and if they are finished - the B-1, F-15E and Sea Vixen.

Good point JV and pleased to see you are keeping formalities - That is Mr. Fentiger to youjamesv9820 wrote:I also think Mr Fentiger needs to check out his diary as I am sure he will find that he has other engagements that weekend ....
I'd love to keep that A-10A to be honest but its been sold!

The offer was to lend some bits for the display however as you point out there are other things going on like drinking beer on the lake and sailing the model yacht around

Re: Model display
spill the beans an unoffical fc trip how dare you! have a great time
Re: Model display
I never expected this sort of interest
As there are so many interested I think we should set up a list of who's doing what.
I would definitely like to see green bats B-17 if possible and most definitely Phill's avenger there
I will need to find out how bigger table we can have so I can work out how much space we will have to fill. I will speak to howard and get back to eveyone as soon as I know. (providing my net dosnt go out again
)

Newark is a bit bigger to be honest but the Downham was not a bad size.
See how succssful this one is though.
Still have to sort Milton Keynes out with my other collegues to see what we are bringing

Re: Model display
I'm with SLAM -Not sure how many people will be there with us but I should be there.
Re: Model display
I have emailed Howard to see how much space we can have, so as soon as I hear from him I can start to work out how much space we will have to fill

Re: Model display
I can't commit to a definate "yes" at the moment, but this is something I'd like to come along to
To justify the distance of travelling I'd probably stay in the area for a few days and combine with trips to Waddo and Coningsby etc
Cheers
Stuart.

Re: Model display
Sadly I dont think so Andy, as this will be an FC table we really should keep to the rules of the forum.
But you could bring it with you as I would love to see it
