civil Ju52?

Post by 22A » Sat Jul 24, 2010 10:15 am

I have been building for a little while now, a German model railway. Instead of on a board, I have it on shelves around two walls of a room so the trains actually run from a town to a village, not in a circle. With the locos, coaches & trucks it must be set in the period 1930 - 1955. For exactly half of that period I've been told it will be quite authentic to have a swastika flag on the town hall and the railway stations, although I'd rather have it set in the early 30s or late 40s..
To add a bit more to the railway I thought of putting say, a Ju 52 either in a field or suspended over the town. Is there a 72nd scale Ju 52 on the market please with civilian markings?

Normaly we cant post civil stuff on here but as this is a JU 52 I will answer the question for you. But if you would like any more info on civilian aircraft could it be posted on our civy site (which I mod the model section as well) http://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/forum ... 55fcf1ba02. Many thanks

So onto the question, yes there is a civy ju 52 and here it is http://www.creativemodels.co.uk/italeri ... -4205.html

I havnt seen this kit as I dont do much 72nd but if some one has done the military version (it will be the same just with civy decals) then please let us know what it was like. :thumb:

If there is anything about military aircraft you would like to post then please feel free :thumb:
