This is a little off topic.

I started a Revell 1/32 F2 20 odd years ago but didn't get too far before my interest in modelling waned. I was planning to put a motor in drive the swing wings. Have you thought about doing this James as I've often wondered how easy it would have been.

Paul,

It is somethign I have never considered to be honest - how easy do you think it would be? The bit that concerns me most is masking out that horibble gap that the model tornados have behing the swing wing to account for the variable geometry. I'm sure this could be sorted out somehow. I would be tempted to light up the Tornado. that would look cooL!

Sadly I am waiting until I get a few detail sets before I start that, although I have some cracking decals for it. We moved into a bigger house so that I could build my big aircraft (although if the mrs asks, it was so we can start a family ;) )

After the beginners spit and my F-4 I will have a little break from aircraft (just to sharpen up my weathering skills  ) and I am going to do my Dragon 35th Geschutzwagen 38 H fur s.1G.33/1
