Crimbo wishes

Post by viper3111 » Sun Dec 05, 2010 12:42 pm

Sorry if people think this may be a little early but chances are I may forget so at least if its done now I know its here

Firstly I would like to thank ALL of the people who have and are contributing to the model section. I am not one for baring any grudges so whatever has happened this year is past history and lets just enjoy the hobby for what it is A HOBBY

Secondly I would like to thank Jamie and Mark for taking on some of the responsibilities on the model section as it is growing daily and it is getting hard for me to keep up with things. I never thought when I offered my services to FC to look after this section it would get this big or this popular and that is thanks to the members who took the time to have a look.

So enough of my waffle,

I hope everyone has a decent crimbo and hopefully some kits from santa, Im still hoping for the roden Zepelin staaken or trumpy SU-25  (ive tried to be good santa :halo: )

So from me, merry crimbo and happy new year

Just to let you all know, I wont be on line as of friday until monday as I am going home for crimbo and that is even deeper in the fens than Ely. So much to say they have only just got electricity and the inter-net is something they go fishing for eels with

Any way I will be back to almost civilisation on monday as I have to work that night :(

So I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who uses the FC model section and for making it one of the friendliest model sections on the net. It has now got to the point where I just keep an eye on things and enjoy the banter and builds, not forgetting the helpfull tips and comments.

I would also like to thank the model team for helping me out now that the section has grown beyond what I could sensibly keep an eye on, your help and input is most welcome and helpfull. Not forgetting the most important people which is the members of FC who have taken the time to join in on the model section or to just enjoy reading it as everyone is welcome. So maybe some of the names I see at the bottom of the section on a regular basis will like to join in. We are all friendly and do not judge people and will help out if needed :thumb: :halo:

I hope we will continue to keep up the builds, friendly atmosphere and light hearted banter as this is what makes us different to some other sites :thumb:

Im back after my short crimbo break,

So now I just want to wish you all a happy new year and happy modelling :thumb:

Hopefully we will be bigger and better in the new year, with just the same friendly banter and cracking builds no matter what your ability.

So I just want to say any one who is doing a build for the competition please start to post them in the competition finished builds area viewforum.php?f=293 ready for judging by 2359 on 31/12/2010. The judging will start on the 2/1/2011 by the team and Michael Benolkin who has kindly agreed to take the time to look over your builds.

Remember, if your build isnt in the finished area IT WILL NOT BE JUDGED

Many thanks and keep building :thumb:
