Was looking at the info for the opening ceremony on Sky and it said something about a flypast along with other things e.g. circus stuff etc, any info on this?

I had a look at the paperwork for this at work earlier. The only flying display is by a civil twin prop (Tecnam P.2006T, G-TECT) that is going
to release some fireworks plus a news helicopter filming. No other flypasts are expected for the rest of the games, including the closing ceremony.

Interesting, was reading some info on it on another website and it said a flying charity to train disabled people to fly called "Aerobility" will perform a flypast in the opening ceremony. This is looking very interesting so far.
