Bucket List
The Bucket List is a list of the things you want to do before you kick the bucket. I consider myself fortunate to have ticked off some of the aviation items on my list which got me to wondering what would be on other enthusiasts lists of must do aviation things.
Suggest we limit it to aviation (for obvious reasons) and only list those things which are still in the art of the possible.
Over to you....

Some really great additions to this thread! Jem60, you must have some solid gold memories, Sir.

Re: Bucket List
Hmmm thats a tough one
I guess a flight in the BBMF Lancaster would be a cool one if a tad unlikely failing that anyone of the 2 seat Spitfires would be on the cards.

Re: Bucket List
Low level fast jet flight - done that 3 times.
Left hand seat in a Wessex - done that.
Sat in the doorway of a Wessex while flying over Snowdon - done that.
Was saving my pennies to go to Thunder City, but that's not going to happen now.

I'd fly a C5 Galaxy And do circuits in kc135 and then a c-130 at mildenhall and i'd like to go in an F-15 At lakenheath and do a performance takeoff
Re: Bucket List
F15 or would have loved a flight in the 2 seat A10

Re: Bucket List
blimey..where do i start
Taxi ride in just jane
Flight in VR-A Canadian Lanc
Visit and photograph RED FLAG exercise
Visit the 'bone yard'
FAST taxi in Lightning T5 @ Cranfield
and the ultimate was thunder city - lightning ride 1st choice, but lets face it, a ride in anything there would be fantastic...things could change down there aswell soon...

I went to Oshkosh last month and crossed the number 1 off my list (I'll be putting up some words and pics this weekend). This is from a sign at Oshkosh...........

Do it............you will not regret it!
My list.........
1) Fly in a Tiger Moth............still never got around to it!
2) Fly a P-51 Mustang (would be first purchase if I won the lottery!)
Re: Bucket List
Top of my list is definitely to fly through LFA 7 in a Hunter T7, a lottery win would dictate it being my own T7
