Are we even talking about the BBMF here - or just static museum aircraft?

Because to me, 1 hurricane for a couple of (I presume, flying) Mosquitos and a Halifax seems a rather unfair trade!

According to the fountain of all knowledge Wikipedia  There is only two de Havilland Mosquito in Canada on display anyway http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_su ... _Mosquitos

Mosquito B.XX KB336 is on display at the Canadian Aviation Museum, Rockcliffe, Ontario.
Mosquito B.35 VP189 is on display at the Alberta Aviation Museum, Edmonton, Alberta.

and one Handley Page Halifax http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_bomber
Another fully restored Halifax, NA337 of No. 644 Squadron RAF at Tarrant Rushton is a transport/special duties version, and was retrieved from the bottom of Lake Mjøsa in Norway in 1995 after being shot down in April 1945. It was brought back to Canada and restoration was completed in 2005. NA337 is a Halifax A Mk VII Special Duties aircraft built by Rootes Motors, Liverpool and resides at RCAF Memorial Museum at CFB Trenton in Trenton, Ontario, near Kingston, Ontario.

With regard to the BBMF story, it seems that Aeroplane Monthly might have jumped the gun slightly with the story as BBMF seem to be saying little about it so far. Given the fuss that has been made (there are some fairly sensible discussions on the subject on the Flypast and Pprune forums), I wonder whether it will go-ahead in any case. Think the story is going to run for a good while yet.
