Just decided that after bidding and winning 600 pic's of Dak's on Ebay,that next april (wife and kids away with the inlaws for a week)I want to get to see as many of the UK dakotas as possible in 5 day's.If any one got good suggestions on which are best/easy to see other than the ones in Museums...please let me know.I have also now quit the cig's,so will now collect dakota pics/ postcards until wife explodes so any ideas on this other than ebay,i would be very grateful...cheers

Bit late now, But during the summer month's the Dakota of the BBMF at Coningsby is out and about on a regular basis, You can also visit the hangar and get up close and personal with it.

Would of thought Coventry would be the best place to start.
many open days normally throughtout the year.

Thanks for help and advice...will be staying in Banbury on the Sunday,so it looks like Coventry is the first stop monday morning.Anyone got info on DC3 N1944 which I picked up last december passing over Swansea.
