Just been on sky news apparently a red arrow has gone down, they will update as the news comes in. Hopefully nothing serious.

One of the reds have gone down after display at Bournemouth on landing ,it went down near Throop road,no news on casualty

According to the people on the Planes TV chat, it's gone down on/in to a bridge near Shoreham.
Whether you believe them or not, I don't know! Their geography doesn't seem great though...

Crashed just outside Bournemouth Airport, near shopping centre. Nine took off, eight have landed.

Seems they had started their display, it wasn't a problem on take-off.

They were on their way in, rescue assets on scene but out of respect and in order not to feed press that is all I will say on this for now.

Just been on BBC news, some utter blockhead talking to reporter by phone "I' am listening on my scanner at "Bournemouth" ..............beggars belief !!!

Latest is that no ejector seat was seen and pilot was rescued from the river. Again i dont know the facts but lets hope the pilot is ok.

They had finished their display and were breaking to land at Hurn when the incident happened.

Reports are always sketchy at this stage. Just hope that everyone on the ground is safe and that the pilot has banged out okay.

Shaun Spencer-Perkins, who witnessed the crash from Throop Mill, said: "I heard a rushing sound and I saw a plane about 15m above the ground racing across the fields.
"It impacted and bounced across the field, made it across the river. Members of the public jumped into the water to search for the cockpit. We waved down the helicopter, I took off my son's orange jacket and my wife's red jumper to get the attention of the helicopter."
