I can't remember if I've mentioned this before ,but there's a bloke down the road from me who has an old Sea Harrier on his garage forecourt !! There's no engine in it, and I heard he paid £20,000 for it.

The national news has picked up on this now. The same guy sold a Sea Harrier for £30,000 a few years ago.

...a lot of his items seem a bit overpriced to me.

I remember when they used to sell at Elvington airshows. They had some nice things, coffe tables with Tornado windscreens set in the top, that kind of thing.
They are very expensive.

It has obviously been kept under cover and pampered, looks almost new!

It's been restored over the last year or so. He's gone a cracking job on it! There was an article in the Daily Mail yesterday about it, hopefully she'll end up in a good home.

Think it might be these guys selling the aircraft. The landscape in the other snaps on their site looks similar to the one on ebay.

Where about were these pictures taken? Does the person selling live on a hill as it looks like it overlooks somewhere?...................

Can't believe this was pulled from eBay due to breaching the weapons act? What the hell is this world coming to? It's a restored aircraft with NO weapons??? I don't get it

This is not new, I know of several items that have been pulled from the site for breaking their 'no weapons rule' - one of which being the Vulcan at NAM, which the original owner listed on the site several years ago - only to have it removed!

Good publicity for the Harrier owner though!!

You could throw it at somebody I suppose .......

Seriously , it'll be because it 'could' be returned to active service , need a few bob spending on it though!!

Not that I can afford it with my wages but is this still for sale? - Seems a bit of a shame it had to be pulled though.

It'd been relisted twice already due to people putting joke bids in for it, so I assumed it'd been taken down again for that.
