In place of spending another fortune on a replacement for the Typhoon, which seems to work and the production line is still current, we could purchase a licence to build a dozen or so of these for the AAC.

They would be useful in any European war in which this country may become involved.
Just a thought ;)

Aside from being a month early.... ;-)

Typhoon isn't a 6th generation fighter bomber, and Tempest/GCAP has clearly being evolving and got bigger. We shall see when the Technology demonstrator flies in 2027

Will the Tempest flight in 2027 be accompanied by a formation of Pigs?

Meanwhile, reference the SkyraiderII. To adapt another ridiculous statement from the 'megalomaniac businessman' (aka DJT/POTUS) :'(
"Drone Baby Drone" !!

Not sure about pigs, but the Tempest technology demonstration test aircraft’s construction looks to be well underway at Warton so no reason why it won’t be flying in two years time. The actual Tempest is a while away though.
