I was reading an article this morning about the XQ-58A unmanned drone (impressive looking bit of kit).

I wonder if they will ever have the need to train in low fly structures?
After all they are still piloted, even if remotely, so you'd think it would be a skill set the remote pilot would need?

Definitely an interesting article.
I do wonder on the low flying subject.
The tornado could fly itself at low level (40?) years ago so I expected drone should be able to do it by itself now?

Why risk a valuable asset when you have high fidelity simulators? I appreciate it's different for manned systems, who need to practice OLF.
Also, since UAS are likely to be low observable, why go low level? This only adds stress to the airframes needing higher strength structures (=weight).
Just my view, feel free to differ.
