Happy 90th Birthday to...

Post by SteveS » Thu Dec 30, 2010 10:53 pm

...F/SGT Frank Shelton, Trade Electrician in the Royal Air Force. Frank served in the RAF during the Second World War and visited places such as Malta, North Africa and Italy with 152 Squadron (then flying the Spitfire) before moving in April 1944 to 4 Indian Air Force Squadron at Feni, flying the latter marks of Spitfire.

Frank (my Grandfather-In-Law) celebrated his 90th by way of a meal with his family (all 21 of us!) decked out his "Royal Air Force Veteran" jumper.

Although Frank is not a member on here, I will be sure he sees any replies so can you all join with me, to wish Frank a very happy 90th birthday!

His diaries of his time with 152 Squadron can be found here - 152 Hyderabad F. Sqn

Thanks!
Steve
