Could this be a COD for our carriers?
I suppose it depends on whether it could carry an F-35 engine & it's price.

Nope too small for starters and nowhere are or will there be a rear ramp or ,clamshell doors , i know I’ve sat inside N609PH and N609TR prototype demo vehicles
Going back 2 decades ago, at Paris Air Show 2001 and 2003, proposed maritime version of then BA609, as saw cabin mock up.
Cheers

Thanks for info Ravendriver

Whilst it could of course have some carrier borne role, it's smaller in every respect than a Super King Air for example, so would be limited in capability and wouldn't be able to carry engines and other key items.
There is already a tilt-rotor carrier capable COD aircraft already in production and operation, with the appropriate load and size carrying capabilities to meet the requirement, the CMV-22B.Not sure why you'd want to pay significant amounts to redesign and certify another type for lesser capability.

Possibly the single redeeming factor for the magnificent QE. & PoW. aircraft carriers is that some clever dicky designed the Lifts & Hangar Deck aperture dimensions to accommodate a folded MV-22!
Guess the other team were tasked with EMALS & Arrestor Gear?
