Norway Falcon 20ECM Retirement

Falcon 20s replaced by the P-8s...
Royal Norwegian Air Force retires both Falcon 20ECM ‘041’ named Hugin and ‘053’ Munin of 717 Skvadron based Rygge (both 1966 build) in service
with Air Force since 1972 (replaced by Boeing P8’s)

Sad to see these go. Can anyone please tell me did one come to RIAT on static a few years back? I'm thinking around 2016?

I guess we will see them again in museums...unless they have other plans.

In one of the Norwegian newspapers highlighting the retirement on 30 September, it was mentioned that one will go to the Bodo museum, along with one P-3 for which the retirement date is set at 30 Jun 2023. It is easy to assume that the other will stay at Gardermoen, but let's find out later. All 5 Norwegian P-8s have now been delivered, replacing both the Da-20 and P-3 in various roles.

Scramble reports
Correcting last month’s report, 4576 was not flown to Bodø airbase on 1 September 2022, it merely overflew the base during a farewell flight. A week later, on 8 September 2022, the aircraft was flown to 309th AMARG at Tucson (AZ).
