USAF F-35's reported to be grounded - 29 Jul 22

Bearing in mind that it's the Daily Mail, they're reporting today that the USAF have grounded all their F-35's for ejection seat checks.

I'd expect it to be a bit more than just USAF ones, as ostensibly the F-35 uses the same seat as the Typhoon which currently requires individual checks.

Article here

Containing a top quote

But in the case of a genuine threat, an RAF source told the publication that “If some baddies come over the horizon we would be up to shoo them away.”

I’m sure it would be Air to Air Tactical Shooing !

Probably explains why none of our F35Bs flew at Marham from last Friday until Thursday afternoon

Might also explain why none of the USAF A’s flew from Lakenheath yesterday as well

Pity, as every F15E takeoff was a ‘quick-climb’, using 06 and in almost clear skies :)
