They probably are aware!
I've seen a schedule somewhere with timings & locations, including Newquay, but never mind! It isn't a 'Grand Tour' or sufficiently significant to me to be concerned for 4 or even only 3 Hawks  in formation when we can still see 9 red ones frequently!

Sadly I think the significance of this will be totally lost on 99% of the population, same with 100 Sqn, etc.

Breaking News... This is such a poignant occasion in aviationthat they're mustering a whopping TWO Hawks to fly this route!

RNAS Culdrose@RNASCuldrose
Timings are approx. March 24, 2 Hawks will fly to Plymouth then fly clockwise around #Cornwall 3.30pm depart Culdrose 3.30; Tregantle 3.40; St Austell 3.43; Culdrose 3.47; Penzance 3.50; Sennan 3.52; St Ives 3.54; Newquay 3.58; Padstow 4pm; Bude 4.04. Depart up coast of Devon.

Be still my beating heart! Excuse me while I sit-down for a moment! :O  :'(

I suppose that depends how often Mr Happy chappy gets to see the Red Arrows. From memory they don't spend much time up in the far north these days

It will be lost on more like 99% of aviation enthusiasts, I reckon? It's two bl**dy Hawks! Who cares? For the record I don't give a Turd for the Red's either! After the celebrations & final flights of previous RAF aircraft/squadron retirements before say 2000, this is poor in the extreme. This may well turn-out to be the high-spot in some youngsters spotting career, but it aint mine!

Well enjoy it all while it lasts, although I don't think they will spare time for a Hercules flypast up north either. Still at least you can see some Typhoons

Hawk XX281 is up at the moment with the ADSB callsign showing as "BYEKERNO". Makes a change from "NAVYHAWK"

Only two Hawks due to one going to Shawbury already, one kept back for gate guard duties at Culdrose, one suffered a bird strike at Culdrose and will leave on a low loader probably, sad day for sure.

Sadly Stupa can't find the enthusiasm for any celebration, but then he does seem to live under a bridge.

Sad to see the passing of 736 NAS. The skies around the SW will be even quieter from now on.

Blackcat. Yes, Kernow is correct, as in Kernow bys vyken! :)
