😷

There would need to be some sort of selection before anyone was given any responsibility for change.
Much as I would like to take control, my recent post prior to Thanksgiving suggests to me that senility is nearer than I would wish.

That said, the Army would be moved from Kendrew Barracks and a new, longer runway installation added. An adversity base would be located there. Aircraft from all friendly airforces would be asked to deploy aircraft accordingly.
Rutland Water would be connected to the Wash with the construction of a waterway similar to the Kiel canal…

Oh, I would join as Red 11 flying a Chipmunk.

Right! That should rule me out of the position 👐🏼🤡🛰

At least there would be decision makers who know what they are doing?

No there wouldn't, just decision makers who think they know what they are doing... but in reality not having a clue.

At times, I've seen more disagreements on here, than in the numerous RAF Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs).
I would employ Ronald McDonald as CAS; rebuild Chipmunks and fit them all with overwing pylons; sack the fools who gave away the Harrier fleet; publicly flog those responsible for the loss of the Nimrod, and finally provide shelter and assistance for our honourable Veterans.
Critically observing Pension regulatory activity... :D

That is more than a bit disingenuous to those who work there and have to balance requirements, vs capability, vs finances vs governments vs conflicting priorities vs operational demands etc etc etc

Whilst maybe you’re in a role managing multi billion £ budgets and projects and such and I’m doing you a disservice, I have a feeling perhaps you are not fully appraised of the bigger picture.

I am surprised any country buys aircraft or equipment without first asking certain FC members, who sit on their backside and appear to know everything :-)

Some folks would immediately dust off the X-32 as that was so much better looking than the X-35... ;-)
