Hope it finds a good home in Scotland. Lossimouth was home to the Buccaneer fleet for a long time. East Fortune is the National Collection and I dont believe they have one ? What about Moravia ? Any idea what condition XW530 is in ?

Always liked dropping in on her whilst on my annual trips up to Lossiemouth. It’ll be a shame to see her go! ☹️

They have XT288 and they should also still have the nose section of XK533.

It's been sold, to be displayed in an animal park in Fife.

Not sure if its the same aircraft as Dundee Courier keep refering to a fighter jet going to Scottish Deer Centre in Fife.Mind you they also described a Stiring as a WW2 jet bomber.

I think it's the same place and the same aircraft.

Point was that the newspaper didnt know a fighter from The Last British Built Bomber and thought we had jet bombers in WW2

A bit like BBC Look East persisting (for several days) withe the claim that Mildenhall's tankers are 'KC-235s'. :S
