I'm trying to do a bit of research into tornado zd842
Does anybody know if that airframe ever went out to iraq between 2003 and 2016 or where I might be able to find out such information if it did.
I know it went to leeming for rtp 24.3.16

ZD842 /105 was a Twin stick so unlikely to have gone on ops to Iraq. Might be wrong though as a T did go to Cyprus for a short while

my book "Tornado" states, first fit 14/02/1985 delivery 11/04/1985 operator location or fate says raF 31 SQN BRUGGEN (DX)

no idea if thats of any use at all but there you go

Will have a look in my logbook later but I’m sure i flew ZD842 at some stage, possibly TWCU either ‘88 or ‘91 at Honington.

Hi Mark, here is my personal bits for ZD842

I 1st logged it as TWCU Coded - 842 - Lakenheath Air Show - 27.08.1988
I have slides of it as No SQUADRON Mark's with the Code - TV - RAF Lossiemouth - 08.09.2003
I have digital images of it as 15 ( Reserve ) SQUADRON Coded - 105 - RAF Coningsby - 04.09.2013 & also Approaching RAF Marham same date

Parts of ZD842 are currently on E-bay.

Only flew it once - 25.8.88 TWCU

UK Serials website lists arriving at Leeming 26-03-16 for RTP
Not sure of actual scrapping date and when fuselage hulk was removed after the process
