Hello,
Welcome!
Yes, there are a fair few Hunters at Scampton, operated by HHA LTd, they also have a Buccaneer, Su-22 and F-4F, more info here:
https://hunterteam.com/
They have Hunter T.72 XE688 and Hunter F.58 ZZ191 currently airworthy, and I think F.58 ZZ190 is not far off being airworthy again when needed to be.
As you now have 5 posts you will be able to see the heads up section, which has some info about todays flight.

HHA were rumored to be moving to Boscombe down when Scampton closes, now gone quiet.

Kemble could be another option.

Would there be an issue having military registered aircraft (and all that entails) based at a civilian base?

I'm sure finding somewhere to put them all at Kemble would also be an issue

FOST Dauphins at Newquay don't seem to have an issue

Read that they only use Newquay for hangar space, officially operate from HMS Raleigh, maybe a way around what AgentK is talking about

The MB Meteors have civil G-JWMA and G-JSMA registrations also allocated.

When the UAS had Bulldogs on military serials they flew from Glasgow/Cambridge/Belfast City airports... and probably a few more civil airports too.

Interesting comments and observations, thanks, hence my initial comment, I wasn't sure! I know, for example, when I was visiting the RNHF hangar at VL, it was required that the maintenance and operation of the civilian registered types they had (the recently lost Sea Fury for example) required the whole maintenance line and operation to be kept fully separate from the military one (the Swordfish for example) so not insurmountable, but a consideration.

Hi Reaper, my interest was piqued at your mention of an F-4F, but then I couldn't see one listed on the HHA fleet listing? Perhaps it's a stealth F4?

ex Luftwaffe F-4F 37+89 arrived by road in 2015, intended as a spares frame for 38+48, that's yet to arrive.

We were fortunate enough to get a visit to HHA on September 2018, we logged 8 Hunters - 2 flyers (ZZ190/191), one "almost-ready-to-fly" (ZZ194), one being rebuilt after shipping over from Brazil (PP-XHH) and 4 stored (G-CGHU, G-CJWL, G-GAII and XF995), along with SU-22 98+14, F-4F 37+89 and Buccaneer G-HHAA (ex XX885). Since then only 3 of the Hunters have flown, they weren't really sure what to do with the rest of the jets, so I would say the other Phantom probably looks doubtful now, especially as they are likely to become homeless!
