Bombardier Gets Contract for Up to 6 E-11A BACN Aircraft

The first one is imminent according to the press, to bring the fleet back up to four. The other five jets are spread over five years to 2026

There was a rumour that the RAF Sentential fleet was going to be handed over for USAF / US Army use.
Expect there would be far to many differences airframe and avionics for this to work ?

Being a "Wifi in the Sky" sounds more like a job for a RAV or drone IMHO. But I am sure that DoD looked into that and ruled it out.

Like the EQ-4? The existence of the EQ-4 suggests the E-11 does something more than comms relay.......
