Will have to watch NOTAMs for airspace closure at Newquay.
Have Osprey and VH-3 done a practice run from Newquay to Carbis Bay yet ?

Cheers

Typical I just posted about the lack of rehearsal - but I assume these are the 'Windsor' section for later in the week

CH-47F reg: 13-08432 (callsign GRIT08) showed on ADSB a few times out of Wiesbaden. Disappeared again for the moment but looks like there’s still hope for Northolt yet.

With a C17 due at Heathrow tomorrow, I'd guess that something will be happening there in due course.

Perhaps AF1 will fly to LHR on Sunday.

It was mentioned earlier in one of the threads that a convoy of helicopters (with Police leaders) would be routing Northolt to Windsor via Heathrow and return.

This was supposed to happen with a rehearsal on Thursday and the proper one another day.

Just as a matter of interest, has anybody kept a list of every US aircraft involved with this so far? From the countless C-17s and KC-130s to the helicopters - the numbers must be staggering? There's been flights into about 8 different airfields too?

Correct, just about, they've not quite done the route but they've covered the area - Culdrose to Tregenna, then I believe St Michael's Mount, followed by Carlyon Bay Golf Course and Newquay Airport. Unsure what Carlyon Bay stop was for. Was three MV-22s and two VH-3s. A single MV-22 stayed around to escort the two VH-3s back into Culdrose and then departed to rejoin the others at EXT.
