But Biden needs to get to London for his meetings with the Queen/Boris on Thursday and Friday, so the helicopters will be needed.
They won't be needed at the weekend, the MV-22s are in place for the Cornwall element.

News said today Biden at Mildenhall tomorrow then Thursday till Sunday he will be in Cornwall so no London visit till Sunday afternoon.
