From sky news

Prime Minister Modi will be appearing virtually instead of travelling to the UK due to the severity of the pandemic in India at present.

Not bad considering India is not part of the G7

Group of Seven (G7) is an informal club of wealthy democracies consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States

India is part of the G20 that incls Russia, China, Brazil and others

Lots of other guest countries invited too, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea as well as India so no surprise... not sure if any of these actually turn up or do it all online rather than risk the new soon to arrive Cornish variant..

Depends what you need to see.

Exeter has the 4 MV-22s, Northolt (at the moment) has 1 x VH-3,
Mildenhall will have the C-130s (when they leave Exeter). Newquay will probably have both Japanese B777s plus some other bits.

There's been no mention of the E-4s' whereabouts? It's usually somewhere in the neighborhood when POTUS is over here?

In my understanding from reading the papers the host country can invite four other countries. The G7 summit next weekend is really the tip ( or summit) of the iceberg where premiers glad hand each other and rubber stamp any agreements reached in this and previous week's between the various ministers of state.

Is there a State Banquet happening at Buckingham palace? We all know old man Joe is meeting the Queen at Windsor directly after the G7 but I thought there was also a pre-summit nose bag?

PS. In view of the VH-3 at Northolt, is Potus flying direct to Newquay or will he land first at Stansted and overnight at the Ambassador's residence? Probably this information is not public yet or is it?

E-4 won't be far away might go to Europe? So many questions. Sorry.

My guess is Heathrow (as others have hinted) for Mr B/POTUS. So a flight (AF1) from Newquay to LHR and copter shuttle to his sit-down meal.

If Mildenhall is "closed" next week and I say that in quotes lightly. I wonder if the KC-130J's will just stay at Exeter. Were they even planned to move in the first place?

The four nations invited by BoJo to attend this year's G7 are Australia, India, South Korea and South Africa. In addition representatives of the EC have participated since 1981 and it should be Ursula van der Leyen attending. Under the current Covid regulations, I think it would be illegal to hold a state banquet. Apparently the cost of hosting this shindig is a mere £70m (say it quick).

The answers to the questions will no doubt appear in the coming days but no need to panic yet. Biden has a meeting with BoJo on 10th (i.e. before start of G7) and is due at NATO summit in Bruxelles on 14th. With there having already been RCH flights into Stansted logic says that Biden will be going Lauda A320 spotting.

The E-4 at Stansted few months was carrying the US Secretary of Defence on a European tour. Mildenhall NOTAM closed could mean the E-4 and the medical C-32 will be based there.

Thought the E-4 usually went to a nearby separate country, if so Ramstein would be a possible.

Just wondering if Moron in Spain could be an alternative for the E4. USAFE have a tanker detachment there.
