Re: Patrouille Suisse F-5 down
I'm glad the pilot is OK but Paddyboy won't be happy about the loss of an F-5.

Aircraft was on a task unrelated to the display team, likely adversary role.

Re: Patrouille Suisse F-5 down
I thought it would be in more bits, but the snow seems to have been quite forgiving.
Lucky there was no avalanche afterwards, imagine that ejecting only to be wiped out by the avalanche your plane made when it hit the ground.
Glad the pilot is okay.

Amazing how the F5 survived larglely intact, it must have hit the snow covered mountain side at just the right angle taking all the energy out of the fall.
