F-15EX Named the Eagle II

Overnight all of the current sexy Eagles have become fat old Eagles, apparently.


The Air Force unveiled the name of its newest fighter jet—the F-15EX Eagle II—during an April 7 ceremony at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.

Iron Eagle for me , then again there wasn't an Eagle in the film's! Although Iron Falcon doesn't sound right 😊

Guess they had to call it something without losing the Eagle name, plus the auditors need some distinguishing name? Not exactly the most exciting christening!
In discussion for us it will just be a '15two' just like the '15c', 15e, 15d. :roll:
