Formula 1 Flypast at Imola

Post by tornado17 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 12:08 pm

4 Typhoons conducted a Flypast at Imola for the F1 a short while ago. 1 has special markings on either side, each side being different. Does anyone know what they are commemorating? I couldn’t find anything on line.

Most likely the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix today at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

F1 often has local aircraft conducting a flypast over the starting grid.
I've seen:

F-18 , C17 - Australia
Frecci Tricolouri - Italy
Reds - Great Britain
NHS Spitfire - Great Britain
Al Fursan - Abu Dhabi
Apaches and Chinooks - USA
Typhoons- Italy (Mugello)

There will be many more but that's all I can remember.

I've yet to see an F1 race that doesn't have a flypast of some sort.

I think "tornado 17" is asking about the special marks on the Typhoon as he already knows the fly-past was for the grand prix. :halo:
